Biaxial Oriented Polypropylene Films (BOPP-Films)

BOPP films are biaxial oriented polypropylene films. After the extrusion through a flat-sheet die the films are oriented many times within a stretching line in order to get increased strength and transparency.

BOPP films are used for packaging of various goods, e.g. flowers and food. Due to the high tensile strength, they are used as tear tapes as well.
Another important characteristic of BOPP films is the excellent shrinkage, therefore they are used for packing goods free from creases.
